[Bruker Avance III HD 600MHz] [Bruker AvanceIII 500MHz] [Bruker Avance III HD 400MHz]

The instruments are located in two buildings. The 500 and 300 are in room 335 of the Chemistry Building, and the 400 and data processing computer are in room 151 of the Physical Sciences Building. Both rooms remain locked at all times, each research group receives a group key which must be shared by the authorized users. If you are intersted in becoming a user, please see training.

Important note: The temperature limits in the tables below are hardware specifications. All of our instruments are hooked up to compressed air as opposed to nitrogen. Running at extreme low or high temperatures can damage the probe. Should you need to do variable temperature NMR please contact me.

*: sensitivity represents the signal:noise (#:1) calculated by the acquistion software using the standard experimental parameters found in the sn.par files included in VNMRJ. The displayed values are the averages from five acquisitions. The following standards were used:

  • 1H – 0.1% Ethylbenzene in CDCl3
  • 19F – 0.05% Trifluorotoluene in C6D6
  • 13C – 40% p-Dioxane in C6D6
  • 31P – 0.0485 M Triphenylphosphate in CDCl3
  • 15N – 90% Formamide in DMSO-d6
