The Simpsons

The Simpsons are in its 20th season now and is still going strong. The Simpsons started out on the Tracy Ullman Show in 1987 and FOX decided to make it into a half hour show in 1989. So came the misadventures of the Simpsons. My favorite episode is the one in the first season where Homer takes the family in for counciling because his family to act like a proper family. They go to Dr. Marvin Monroe and the doctor tries every kind of therapy on them but nothing works, he even tries shock therapy. By the end of the episode Homer realizes that his family is just fine the way it is. The Simpsons are so engrained in our culture that D’oh! is now in the dictionary and even South parth had an episode where all of the characters turned into Simpson characters.
