Lee Anne Kirkpatrick joined the former College of Arts and Sciences advising office (OASIS) in 1996 as Coordinator of Academic Support Services. In addition to academic advising, she was responsible for developing the SASS degree audits for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) programs for use as both an advising tool and for certification of degrees. She became Interim Director of OASIS in 2001 and permanent Director in 2003. After the creation of two new colleges from the dissolution of the former CAS, she became Director of Undergraduate Services of the new College of Sciences Academic Services (COSAS) office
