What is the IC CAE?

The Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (IC CAE) assists undergraduate and graduate students in developing critical skills needed for future work in the intelligence community or national security. The Defense Intelligence Agency awards grants for a small number of these centers to universities whose academic programs can provide a basis for intelligence or national studies programs.

How do I get involved?

To receive information and updates about the IC CAE, subscribe to our mailing list here. Students may also be interested in joining the UCF student organization, the Club on Security and National Intelligence (CoSI).

What does the IC CAE offer?

As one of only 20 programs in the country, UCF’s IC CAE has the unique ability to offer students connections to intelligence and national security agencies, a community of like-minded students here at UCF, and funding opportunities for study abroad programs and workshops with an aim toward placement in this growing and critical field. We offer a minorundergraduate certificate, and graduate certificate in Intelligence and National Security to improve academic knowledge and visibility to IC recruiters. We also host a Speaker Series that attracts nationally and internationally known experts in the field and academia.
