Rachel Bassett is currently a fourth-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. She recently graduated from the Clinical Psychology Masters Program at the University of Central Florida. Rachel was born in Royal Oak, Michigan but has lived in Bradenton Florida from age 12-18. She has lived in Orlando during her undergraduate and graduate programs at UCF. Rachel majored in Political Science and Psychology and received degrees in both. Her current research focuses on caregiving roles and patterns involving family members with dementia. Her research interests include gerontology and clinical neuropsychology. Her long term professional goals are to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology. Rachel’s career goals include research and teaching.
