Mona Shah, MA, MS

Mona is a fifth-year graduate student in the OLDeR lab. Originally from California, she earned her Bachelors degree from UC Berkeley in 2008. She then earned a Masters degree in Psychology from CSU Fullerton in 2011 and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from UCF in 2015.  Mona’s clinical and research interests lie in behavioral medicine and health psychology.  Presently, Mona is working on her dissertation examining the efficacy of a 6-week caregiver support group in a primary care setting.  She is also very excited to begin her Predoctoral Psychology Internship at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago this July.  Ultimately, Mona aspires to have a career in integrated behavioral health as a researcher, clinician, and educator.
