Emily graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in psychology and minor in neuroscience from The Ohio State University in 2011. While there, she participated in a neuroscience research project which led to a coauthorship, published in the Journal of Biological Rhythms. Post graduation, Emily spent three years working on clinical trials of PTSD treatments with active duty military in Fort Hood, Texas.
Emily is a clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of Central Florida in the UCF RESTORES lab, mentored by Drs. Sandra Neer and Deborah Beidel. Her primary research interests are PTSD and TBI in military veterans.
In her free time, Emily enjoys weightlifting, standup comedy, and taking her dog to the dog park.
