Franklin Mesa

mesa_franklinBorn and raised in Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C., Frank graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park., where he was also a McNair Scholar.

Frank’s research interests include the deficits and difficulties experienced by adolescents with social anxiety and the psychopathology and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, particularly in military veterans.
He is also interested in exploring cultural influences in these areas. Frank hopes to remain involved in both clinical research and practice in his future endeavors.

Aside from his interest in anxiety disorders, Frank enjoys exercise, being outdoors, listening to all sorts of music, and driving.
