Nick James graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Statistics and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2015. Currently, he is a doctoral student in the clinical psychology program at UCF working in the Recent and Emerging Technology Research Organization Lab (RETRO Lab) and UCF RESTORES where he is mentored by Drs. Clint Bowers and Deborah Beidel. His research focuses on enhancing clinical interventions with technology based treatment aids or programs. Specifically, he hopes to work on the validation and implementation of web-based interventions addressing preventative and acute psychological needs.
In his free time, Nick enjoys playing piano, hiking, and attempting to cook palatable food.
