Thien-An Le, An for short, graduated from Wofford College, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with a B.S in Psychology and a B.A in Spanish. An took part in various research projects and received funding grants which lead to two coauthoriships as an undergraduate student. The first developed a cost-free sustainable program addressing childhood obesity in Nature’s International Journey of Obesity. The second, on learning acquisition speed based on different guiding cues in rats, published in Learning and Behavior. An is now a team member of Dr. Beidel’s Anxiety Disorders Clinic where she aims to focus her future investigations on treatment efficacy, as a function of homework compliance, of individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder in low-income families.
In her free time, An enjoys playing sports such as volleyball, soccer, and rock climbing, and also enjoys baking, going to the beach, and being with her family.
