The Kerkenes Project very fondly remembers Dr David Stronach, a leading scholar of the archaeology of the Middle East and an Associate Director of the Project from 1999-2003.\u00a0 Dr. Stronach passed away on June 27th, 2020.\u00a0 We will forever remember the important role he played during a very critical time in the development of the work at Kerkenes, along with his sage knowledge and wonderful company in the field.\u00a0 He will be sorely missed.<\/p>\n
