Welcome to the Anthropology Department at UCF!<\/strong> Anthropology is the study of humankind across time and geography. Anthropology at UCF offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and seeks to advance anthropological concepts through teaching and research by actively investigating relevant questions of today’s world.<\/p>\n

Our core faculty have expertise in the subfields of cultural and medical anthropology, archaeology <\/strong>and biological anthropology<\/strong>, conducting ongoing intensive research in North America and around the world. To earn their Anthropology BA, our students take a combination of lab, field, and applied courses on campus and online. The Anthropology Main Office is located on the 3rd floor of Howard Phillips Hall on UCF’s Main Campus in room 309.<\/strong> If you stand in front of Millican Hall facing the library, we are the smaller 4-story brick building immediately to the left.<\/p>\n
