He also received his B.A. in Anthropology from UCF in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd text-justify\">Under the advisement of Dr. Lana Williams, Griffon focused on trace element analysis and bioarchaeology. His thesis examined the use of handheld X-ray fluorescence spectrometry as a nondestructive method for analyzing trace elements in dental enamel and comparing trace element patterns among ancestral populations in Belize and Egypt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd text-justify\">In 2026, Griffon was inducted into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/founders-day-2026-student-awardees\/\">Order of Pegasus<\/a> in recognition of his outstanding achievements in academics, research, community leadership, and outreach at UCF. During his graduate studies, he served as a graduate teaching assistant and participated in fieldwork at Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Dayr al-Barsha, Egypt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-justify\">Following the completion of his master\u2019s degree, Griffon plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Anthropology with a focus on community archaeology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Griffon Binkowski earned his M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Summer 2026, specializing in biological anthropology.
