Her research, under the advisement of Dr. Sarah Freidline, focuses on facial growth and bone modeling in the genus Homo during dental eruption. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology from Visva-Bharati University (2021) and an Erasmus Mundus M.A. in Prehistory and Quaternary Science (2023). Tannistha works in the field of prehistoric archaeology and has participated in multiple excavation projects across Europe and Asia.
