{"id":7910,"date":"2026-08-19T09:45:34","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T13:45:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/anthropology\/?post_type=person&#038;p=7910"},"modified":"2026-08-19T09:47:24","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T13:47:24","slug":"zindy-cruz","status":"publish","type":"person","link":"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/anthropology\/person\/zindy-cruz\/","title":{"rendered":"Zindy Cruz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"text-justify\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Zindy is a forensic anthropologist and bioarcheologist who received a B.S. degree in Anthropology from Western Carolina University and an MA in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text-justify\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Before starting their Ph.D. journey under the advisement of Dr. Donovan Adams, Zindy spent over a year trekking the Everglades as an archaeological technician with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. <\/span><span class=\"text-justify\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Currently, they are focusing on forensic anthropology, with interests in identification methods for Latin Americans and migrant populations.
