Congrats to Helen Tarrau and Cori Keim, two undergraduate working in the Urban Ecology lab, for presenting posters of their research at the UCF Summer Poster Showcase on July 19! Helen’s project focussed on analyzing citizen science photos of American bumblebees, to assess what flowers the bees visited in the photos and how that varied among different land uses in Florida. Cori’s research focussed on identifying moths pollinating flowers, which is an understudied aspect of pollination. Both students did a great job on their posters!
