Biography
Ashley Reaume is a PhD candidate who is working to address management needs within the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTM NERR) in St. Augustine, FL. Her dissertation research focuses using novel molecular tools (eDNA and metabarcoding) for monitoring estuarine plankton communities in order to understand the relationships between water quality and ecosystem health. Ashley previously attended Central Michigan University where she completed her B.S. degree in biology and environmental studies.
