Biography

I received my BS (major in Zoology) at University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka and MS in Marine Life Science at Jeju National University, South Korea. While I was at Jeju National University, I studied on the immune role of three akirin genes in seahorse Hippocampus abdominalis and involved in various vaccine projects in marine aquaculture fishes. As a PhD student at UCF Biology, my current focus is on molecular evolution of marine fish species.
