Biography

Taylor received a B.S. in Field biology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, a Master of Professional Science in Fisheries Management and Conservation Science from the University of Miami, and a Master in Education from Carthage College. Her undergraduate thesis focused on using PCR-RFLPs to determine the coyote-wolf (Canis lupus X Canis latrans) lineage in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Whereas, her master’s thesis focused on the role of media in conservation and environmental education. As a Ph.D. student at UCF, Taylor will study how reef fish population genomics and distributions may shift with anthropogenic impacts across the Greater Caribbean.
