She is assisting in\u00a0developing\u00a0the framework of a COI database for all Florida fish by\u00a0compiling the mtDNA sequences from BOLD and filling in the gaps using extractions and PCR of individual specimens for use in the\u00a0identification of eDNA fragments in future projects.
