The focal research theme of my lab is characterizing and predicting species responses to global change at the community and landscape scales.<\/b>\u00a0 My current research interests span four related themes within global change ecology:
\n\"Restorationplot\"<\/a>
\n1.Characterizing species responses to climate change,
\n2. Predicting climatically-induced range expansion,
\n3. Ecological restoration and global change mitigation, and
\n4. Economic impacts and policy implications of global change mitigation.<\/p>\n

In carrying out my research, I employ multi-scale techniques, where I determine landscape-level influences on species demography and further investigate these influential factors with patch-scale community manipulations and experiments. My interest in species preservation is served by utilizing a variety of methods to answer pressing questions relating to the addition and loss of species in ecosystems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
