{"id":10864,"date":"2025-05-01T13:33:28","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T17:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/biology\/?page_id=10864"},"modified":"2026-01-06T14:21:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T19:21:30","slug":"override-bsc2011c","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/biology\/override-bsc2011c\/","title":{"rendered":"Override for Biology II (BSC 2011C)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">PLEASE NOTE &#8211; BSC2011C OVERRIDES FOR SUMMER 2026 WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL WEDNESDAY, MAY 6th, 2026<\/h2>\n<p class=\"lead\">Please use this form if you have completed BSC2010C \u2013 Biology I with a grade of \u201cC\u201d or better AND you receive a prerequisite error:<\/p>\n<p class=\"pl-5 pr-5\"><strong>Students with declared majors (Ex: Kinesiology or Health Sciences) that do not require BSC2011C \u2013 Biology II as part of their major or graduate non-degree seeking students will not be able to enroll in Biology II themselves. These students require an override into an open class or override onto the waitlist for a closed class beginning one week prior to the beginning of the semester you are requesting to take the class.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"pl-5 pr-5\"><strong>Biology majors, along with a handful of other majors require BSC2011C for their major and Biology students especially cannot take any classes within their major until they complete BSC2011C. That is why students at UCF with majors that require Biology II must take precedence; they need it to graduate from UCF.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have taken BSC2010C \u2013 Biology I at another public Florida institution and it is currently not listed on your degree audit or recorded in the UCF system, then you will need to show proof of the prerequisite completed by unofficial transcripts or screen captures showing <strong>full name<\/strong>, <strong>institution name<\/strong>, <strong>course number<\/strong> and <strong>final grade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Overrides for BSC2011C begin one week prior to the semester you wish to take the class.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer 2026 &#8211;
