The evaporatively cooled bays have automated drip watering systems distributed across six benches, supporting pot-based plant growth. The space is used primarily for research on plant physiology, plant genetics, and plant-microbial relations.<\/p>\n<p>This research space consists of two 2100 sq ft agricultural high tunnels, with adjustable shade cloth and ventilation provided by solar-powered fans.
