Our\u00a0main interest is to develop an electrochemical sensor for the detection of cancer biomarkers in ultra-low volume samples via nanoparticles as the label. In this direction our aim is to integrate ultra-sensitive polymeric-based sensors into microchip platforms. We are\u00a0also interested in studying the interactions at the interface of biomolecules and nanomaterials, the synthesis of nanoparticles and nanostructures, and the development of biocompatible materials for analytical devices.
