About Us<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Randles Research Group is a Chemistry Education Research Group based at the University of Central Florida. Our mission is to probe at student understanding and develop the learning opportunities for K-16 students studying chemistry. We conduct research associated with six broad themes. Those themes are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. The Reflective Practice and Teaching Practices of Graduate Teaching Assistants<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Threshold Concepts and Multiple Literacies in Chemistry and Biology K-16 Curriculum<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Monitoring student mental health in general and organic chemistry courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Using AI assisted Apps to support student academic advising<\/li>\n\n\n\n
