Placement Exam<\/h2>\n

To register for CHM 2045C, you must earn a passing score in the Chemistry Placement Test WebCourse or complete CHM1025. Students with strong foundations in math and science who are interested in majors that require CHM2045C are encouraged to take the Placement Exam to increase the likelihood of enrolling directly into CHM2045C.<\/p>\n

To register for the Chemistry Placement Exam, visit your Student Center Dashboard at my.ucf.edu<\/a> and Log In. Click on the Academic Records tile, then on the left side click Other Academic Information and Placement Test Self Enrollment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t

Once you register for the Chemistry Placement Test, it will appear in your Dashboard in webcourses.ucf.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 This course contains the exam as the only assignment and the home page of that course includes complete instructions, a description of the exam, and the score required to pass.\u00a0 Please make sure that you read the instructions carefully before entering the exam.<\/p>\n

If you are unsure of whether your major requires Chemistry, you can view a list of required courses in your Major\u2019s course catalog.<\/p>\n

If you have questions concerning the Chemistry Placement test, please contact the Chemistry Department via chemplacement@ucf.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
