You may have noticed Knightly Latino, a new section on the Knightly News Website. Students in Knightly News, under the supervision of news director and instructor Katie Coronado, have been posting stories focusing on the Latino community, both in English and in Spanish. In addition, the students are now posting daily Spanish language webcasts and summaries of the day’s news. Now the National Association of Hispanic Journalists has picked up on it and members of the Association are spreading the word via Facebook (see Photo). It’s another example of how students in Knightly News are reaching out to their communities.
