Biography

Harry Weger joined the Nicholson School in 2005. Harry received his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Arizona. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 articles and book chapters across the fields of communication, social psychology, personal relationships, and hospitality. His research interests include nonverbal communication in political debates, persuasion in restaurant service encounters, and communication in close relationships. Harry has served as the Editor of the journal Argumentation and Advocacy, is a member of several editorial boards, and is currently Assistant Director of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media for the Human Communication program area. Coauthored with John Seiter, his book Nonverbal Communication in Political Debates is published by Lexington Books.
