During fall and spring semesters, students present a weekly live newscast, UCF Knightly News. This student‐produced half‐hour newscast airs live every Friday afternoon on campus cable and on tape-delay courtesy of Bright House cable.

WNSC is UCF’s student-run 24/7 radio station broadcast over closed-circuit campus cable on Channel 21 and online at wnsc.ucf.edu that is managed by radio-television students. WNSC is the source for UCF campus news and events and offers free advertising to all UCF organizations. WNSC provides the students of the University Of Central Florida with a source for entertainment and is a valuable learning tool for those involved.

NSC sponsors the UCF intercollegiate debate program, which is open to any undergraduate student enrolled in the university. UCF Debate is a nationally competitive team policy debate program that competes on the annual national topic. The team functions under NDT/CEDA team policy debate and travels regionally and nationally to compete in tournaments. No experience is required in order to participate.

NSC sponsors the UCF intercollegiate speech (forensics) and parlimentary debate program, which is open to any undergraduate student enrolled in the university. Students are eligible to qualify for the major intercollegiate national tournaments for competitive speaking. The typical individual events include the following: Literary interpretation events, public address events, limited preparation events and the Lincoln-Douglas debate.

Ad Club is the UCF student chapter of the American Advertising Federation and works closely with the local AAF chapters, the Orlando Advertising Federation and Ad2 Orlando. While activities are designed for Ad-PR and marketing students, all university students are welcome to join, regardless of major.

Quotes is the largest student chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Active for more than 25 years, Quotes is also the largest chapter of FPRA in the state. The chapter sponsors Intern Pursuit, at which intern employers and students meet in an informal setting, and connects UCF students with professional mentors in the community in both advertising and public relations.
