About the COS Course Evaluation System:
Students may use the COS Course Evaluation system to request that a course taken at another institution be reviewed for equivalency with a UCF Course or Major Requirement. To do so, students must complete the form by filling out all appropriate information. It is important that students submitting a request through this system include a specific targeted course or prerequisite they wish to be satisfied by their submission.
The Course Evaluation process requires considerable effort in order to complete by the departmental authorities for each subject. Students should expect the process to take between 4-6 weeks for full completion. In times of extreme high volume, such as the week before, during and after Add/Drop, the course evaluation process can take significantly longer than in non-peak periods.

Student Portal
NOTE: Students must include all of the following with their submission in order for the request to be considered:
- A syllabus of the course taken.
- Digital transcript showing the course in question as completed.
- A link to the Course Description on the previous institution’s official website.
Failure to include all three of these items will lead to the request being immediately voided and a new request will be required.
The COS Course Evaluation System is only for students needing review from the UCF College of Sciences. Check the course you are looking to have reviewed in the UCF Undergraduate Catalog Course Listing to determine what college offers the course. Courses that are part of the College of Sciences will have “COS” bolded on the top row of the course entry.
