What is CUWiP<\/h2>\r\n\r\n
\r\n

CUWiP is the Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics. The goal of\u00a0APS CUWiP<\/a>\u00a0is to help undergraduate women continue in physics by providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to other women in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas. The national and local organizing committees of APS CUWiP strive to create a welcoming environment for all, including undergraduate women and gender minorities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Applications and registration are now closed. We’re looking forward to seeing you all at CUWiP 2023!<\/p>\r\n

If you registered, you should by now have received several emails from UCF CUWiP Organizers (or another site) about your attendance. Check your junk\/spam if haven’t received an email, which would have come from ucfcuwip@ucf.edu<\/a>. CUWiP has become incredibly popular. In order to maximize the number of CUWiP participants we can accommodate, we will allocate participants to sites based on travel logistics and site capacity. Please do not purchase travel or plan to be at a specific site until you receive an email confirming you have been accepted to a specific CUWiP site.<\/p>\r\n

COVID-19 Policy<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

APS has updated their guidelines and proof of vaccination is no longer required to attend the conference. See <\/span>APS COVID guidelines here<\/b><\/a>. UCF COVID information can be found <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>. Masking, vaccinations, and testing beforehand are all still strongly recommended.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
