Are you contemplating to further your education through graduate studies? The College of Sciences offers numerous degree programs and certificates. UCF offers several opportunities for students to begin working towards a graduate degree while still completing their Bachelor\u2019s degree, as well as for students who prefer to explore graduate education without committing to completing a graduate degree program in their undergraduate major.<\/p>\n

The College of Sciences connected with academic programs to summarize information regarding student engagement opportunities in a single report. The aim of this report is to share information about what programs are already doing to support their students outside of structured instruction to promote graduate student success. Additional Opportunities<\/h2>\n

Senior Scholars Program<\/h5>\n

UCF undergraduate students who meet departmental eligibility requirements may enroll in up to nine hours of UCF graduate courses and use them toward both their undergraduate degree and their graduate program of study upon admission to a UCF graduate program. Is the Graduate Program You are Interested in Different from Your Undergraduate Major?<\/h5>\n

When thinking about Graduate School, your undergraduate degree does not necessarily have to be in the same discipline as the graduate program you are thinking of pursuing. Check with the program you are interested in to find out what pre-requisites may be needed, if any.<\/p>\n

Post-Baccalaureate Non-degree Student<\/h5>\n

If you are not quite ready to apply to a graduate program, but you want to try out graduate coursework, you can apply online as a post-baccalaureate non-degree student and in accordance with UCF\u2019s graduate admissions regulation, and, if approved, take graduate courses. Up to nine hours of coursework taken prior to admission into a graduate program could be applied to that graduate program. (Note: Overrides or special permission may be needed; you must consult with the program advisor.)<\/p>\n

Graduate Certificate Programs<\/h5>\n

UCF offers numerous Graduate Certificate Programs that are available to recent graduates. These programs offer a specialization, but not a degree, in many areas that may supplement or enhance your baccalaureate degree. You do not need to be a student in the college or program that is offering the certificate program. For a complete listing of these programs, visit the UCF Graduate Catalog<\/a>.
