Many exciting ventures are planned for this summer at the Arboretum! From gardening in the Community Garden to Yoga at Oak Hammock, there will surely be something for everyone!<\/p>\n

\"Arboretum<\/a><\/p>\n

Gardening at the Community Garden:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The UCF Arboretum engages students and the community through experience based learning, research, volunteer opportunities, educational workshops and guided tours.\u00a0 Establishing new partnerships with other UCF departments, such as Wellness and Health Promotion Services (WHPS) and the Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) is allowing us to offer students and the community more opportunities to interact with their natural environment.<\/div>\n

Monday: \u00a08am – 10am; 5pm – 7pm
\nTuesday: 8am – 10am
\nWednesday: 5pm – 7pm
\nThursday: 8am – 10am
\nFriday: \u00a0 \u00a0 8am – 10am<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Groups of 5 or more can visit the arboretum website<\/a> to reserve spots at least one week in advance.<\/div>\n

Yoga at Oak Hammock<\/strong>:
\nStrengthen, stretch, align the body and increase flexibility using continuous non-stop flowing movements.\u00a0 Yoga helps relieve physical, mental and emotional stress and seeks to bring out the best in you.\u00a0 Join the RWC as they host this weekly yoga session in the Arboretum Oak Hammock every Wednesday at 9:30am.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
