The 2011 Heart Walk is a wonderful opportunity to raise funds to help fight heart disease and strokes. Many of us have had the misfortune of a family member or friend experience one of these afflictions. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20% by 2020.<\/p>\n

Please support the College of Sciences by making a donation today! Click this link<\/a> to make a secure, tax-deductible online donation. It is easy to make a donation online, click on the \u201cGeneral Team Donation\u201d at the top of the page. The American Heart Association’s fundraising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00.<\/p>\n

If you prefer, you can make a donation with a personal check (made out to: American Heart Association) and drop it off at the COS Dean’s Office.\u00a0The \u201c2011 Greater Orlando Heart Walk\u201d will be held on September 17, 2011 at the Loch Haven Park in Orlando. The festivities will start at 7:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
