There were 18 programs ranked in 2017, followed by 22 in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest point-gain improvement in the rankings was Physics, which moved up 24 points to No. 61, the highest-ranked program in the College of Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The UCF Physics Departments&#8217; peers are now Brandeis, Case Western, Dartmouth, University of Iowa, University of Southern California, University of Utah and Virginia Tech, who are all tied at No. 61.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. News &amp; World Report\u2019s rankings in business, education, engineering, law, medicine and nursing are designed for prospective students looking to continue their education and advance their careers.
