A roundtable discussion was held regarding future efforts by the two programs to collaborate and cross-train students in their majors.<\/p>\n<p>Reporters, editors, producers and managers from WFTV Channel 9, the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Magazine, La Prensa, Golf Channel, Observer Newspapers and others met with faculty for the two-hour event. <strong>Professors Tim Brown, Will Kinnally and Rick Brunson represented the Nicholson School.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The information and insights gathered from the discussion will be used to better utilize and deploy resources in NSC to train students for a multimedia industry where print, digital and broadcast media have merged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fifteen media representatives from the Central Florida market met with radio-television and journalism faculty members recently at the Nicholson School.
