She will use the grant to\u00a0go through the papers of the author Robin Morgan.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Voss also recently published a paper in FCH Annals: Journal of the Florida Conference of Historians, May 2012. The paper \u201c\u2018You Can\u2019t Hug a Newspaper\u2019: Janet Chusmir, the Miami Herald and Newspaper Management,\u201d was a finalist for the Thomas M. Campbell Award for the best paper published in its Annual Proceedings in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>She also wrote \u201cFood Journalism or Culinary Anthropology? Re-evaluating Soft News and the Influence of Jeanne Voltz\u2019s Food Section in the Los Angeles Times,\u201d which was published in American Journalism, Spring 2012.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NSC Professor Dr. Kim Voss was recently awarded the\u00a0Mary Lily Research Grant from Duke University.
