Reviewers for the program are competitively selected from among applicants who have obtained their doctorates relatively recently. NIH Scientific Review Officers can select one ECR to participate in each study section they conduct, to review applications for NIH grant funding.<\/p>\n<p>Ann Neville Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Nicholson School of Communication with 15 years of experience teaching and researching in Africa.
