She began her career at\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.smwsa.com\/\" rel=\"external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">The Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America<\/a>\u00a0after graduating from the\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/\" rel=\"external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">University of Central Florida<\/a>\u00a0in 2006. Shayne&#8217;s\u00a0parents founded the U.S. branch of the Society in 1993, and she currently co-manages the exclusive private membership club with her sister, Lauren Mayer.<\/p>\n<p>Gabby joins\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.womensradio.com\/2012\/10\/gen-y-show-entrepreneurial-spirit-in-family-owned-businesses\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Keeping Up with Gen Y<\/em><\/a>\u00a0to talk about how young entrepreneurs can successfully walk the line between emotion and enterprise when stepping into their family-owned business.
