With more than 35 years of public relations experience, in his new role Pynn will work to raise the visibility of FRC and its initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor more than a decade, I have worked with clients that seek to aide Florida\u2019s business climate in technology, research and innovation,\u201d said Pynn. \u201cThe challenges facing Florida as an innovation economy are fewer than in years past, but there is still a great amount of room for improvement. I am honored to work alongside colleagues in higher education, public and private sectors to promote innovation in Florida.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aside from his FRC duties, Pynn is also a director and member of the Executive Committee of The PRISM Project \u2013 a 10-county initiative to improve math and science education. He remains actively involved with his alma mater, the University of Central Florida, serving on the Board of Visitors of the Nicholson School of Communications and as chair of the Dean\u2019s Advisory Board of the UCF College of Sciences.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>About the Florida Research Consortium<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Florida Research Consortium Board (FRC) is the state\u2019s most focused yet widest ranging advocate for knowledge based economic development.
