Scientist-turned-filmmaker Dr. Randy\u00a0Olson, is a fan of Al Gore’s global warming movie, but asks, “Where\u00a0are all the scientists?”\u00a0\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

He sets out to make his own documentary\u00a0about global warming featuring scientists, but the only backers he can\u00a0find are a fabulously flaky couple who top their list of people they want\u00a0him to interview with Tom Cruise (not a scientist but a Scientologist —\u00a0“most people don’t know the difference”) and Kate Winslett (“she\u00a0does a good British accent which makes her very believable”).<\/p>\n

Watch a free screening of the movie at UCF on\u00a0Monday, May 6, 2013 in\u00a0Classroom Building 1 (CL 1) \u2013 Room 104 at\u00a06:00 pm\u00a0followed by a question and answer session with the filmmaker.<\/p>\n

“Sizzle” is a novel blend of three genres — mockumentary,\u00a0documentary, and reality.<\/p>\n

Through a series of\u00a0interviews and an eventual road trip to New Orleans the movie delves\u00a0to new depths in an effort to understand the confusion around global\u00a0warming, which may be the most serious problem to ever confront\u00a0humanity.
