\"Dwight<\/a>We invite you to attend a memorial service for Professor Dwight Kiel, Political Science, on Friday October 4, at 1:00 pm in the Fairwinds Alumni Center on the UCF campus.<\/p>\n

Professor Kiel joined UCF in 1990 as an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department. His research focused on political theory and public policy, especially in the areas of education and environmental politics. Professor Kiel was a dedicated teacher in the department\u2019s undergraduate and graduate programs, and he was also a core faculty member in Interdisciplinary Studies. He directed the department\u2019s graduate program for several years. His enthusiasm for teaching and his commitment to his students were recognized with several Excellence in Teaching awards at UCF. He was an active participant in the Society for Utopian Studies and the Western Social Science Association.<\/p>\n

The Fairwinds Alumni Center is located across the street from the UCF Arena, 12676 Gemini Blvd. North, Orlando, FL 32816.<\/p>\n
