Marni Spence is a Tax Principal with more than 26 years of tax experience in public accounting, focusing on closely held business and their individual owner’s tax returns.  She is also in charge of the manufacturing and distribution tax practice in the state of Florida.  Spence is the Research and Development tax credit liaison for the Orlando office.  She is the Southeastern Regional Manufacturing and Distribution Tax lead.  Spence is a member of the Florida Executive Women’s Association, American Institute of Certified Accounts and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounts.  She serves on the UCF Research Foundation Board, City of Winter Parks and Recreation Board, National Center for Simulation Board, Orlando, Inc. and UCF Alumni Board.  She is also the Co-Executive Director of Athena Powerlink Program Board of Advisors/Mentor Advisor. Spence earned her BS in Accounting at UCF and is a basketball coach for the First United Methodist Church in Winter Park as well as the Winter Park YMCA.
