Hawking Center for Microgravity Research and Education (The Hawking Center) is a joint venture of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Central Florida<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceflorida.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Space Florida<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0conducts and facilitates research in microgravity sciences. The Center makes use of parabolic airplane flights, drop towers, suborbital rocket flights, and orbital flights.
