Please follow the steps below so we can help you start your prototype fabrication today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting a UCF ID Card<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you already have an ID card, student or staff. You are ready to go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not a UCF ID card, you will need to visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ucfcard.ucf.edu\/\">UCF&#8217;s Card Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request Door Access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have an ID you can request door access through COSIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/for-faculty\/door-access-control\/\" style=\"border-radius:0px\">COSIT Door Access Request<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Select Physical Sciences (121): Physics Department<\/strong>\u00a0to bring up a webform. Fill the form as prescribed. Currently, the MPF&#8217;s labs are PSB 440, PSB 103, and MSB 148. Please only select the rooms you need. Also if you are a Graduate student, Post-doc, or Faculty you may also request exterior door access to use the lab outside of standard working hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instruments by Room Number<\/strong><br><strong>PSB 440:<\/strong>\u00a0Headway SPin Coater, Hotplate, OAI Mask Aligner, Evan Ebeam Evaporator, MRC Sputter System, Branson Sonicator, Trion PECVD, Barrel Asher, Samco RIE, Trion RIE-ICP, STS Deep RIE, Optical Microscope, Profilometer, Probe Station, Wafer Scriber<br><strong>PSB 103:<\/strong>\u00a0Hanscom D5000 AFM, Walters SPM AFM, Hitachi SEM, Cressington Sputter System, UV-Vis Spectrometer, Optical Microscope, MicroBalances, Four-Point Probe<br><strong>MSB 148:<\/strong>\u00a0Simiran Ebeam Evaporator, Reid Thermal Evaporator, Critical Point Dryer, Tube Furnace, Oxidation Furnace, Hall Effect<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fill Out a Dossier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s our policy to have contact information and knowledge of a user&#8217;s training in a dossier. For this we require a recognizable photo, email and phone numbers for both yourself and your supervisor, along with information about your typical processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/physics\/mpf\/dossier-creator\/\" style=\"border-radius:0px\">Visit the Create a Dossier page to submit your information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Trained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get started it is required for users to go through training on our machines, as well Environmental Health and Safety Training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EHS Training<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For Eniviromental Health and Safety Training follow the link. For those with a UCF ID, EHS training is free of charge and offered multiple times a month. It expires yearly, so it&#8217;s the user&#8217;s responsibility to keep it up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ehs.ucf.edu\/labsafety.html\" style=\"border-radius:0px\">EHS Lab Safety Website<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Cleanroom Training Course<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrange a time to be trained on how our facilties operate. Everything from how our log in system works, to what our policies are. Contact us at mpf@physics.ucf.edu for the current training schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Machine Training<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To use each machine, you need to be trained by a cleanroom technician or the Superuser.
