Important Date Change Information<\/strong>:
\nThe 2021 PREP Symposium will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, August 13 in the Physical Sciences Building (Room160\/161). <\/em>************************************************************************************<\/em><\/p>\n

The Central Florida Physics Research Exchange Program (PREP) is an internally-operated, cooperative pilot program established between the Physics Departments at the University of Central Florida and participating DirectConnect campuses (College of Central Florida, Daytona State, Eastern Florida State, Lake Sumter, Seminole State, and Valencia). The program provides students enrolled at our partnering 2-year institutions with opportunities to participate in funded 10-week research projects within participating Physics research groups at UCF. Thus far the program has hosted 11 students over two iterations, with another 5 students committed to completing research experiences this summer. Participating students should expect exposure to otherwise inaccessible,\u00a0 cutting-edge research opportunities across several areas of physics while benefiting\u00a0 from other direct mentorship and career development activities associated with the program.<\/p>\n
