{"id":287,"date":"2018-08-02T09:22:15","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T13:22:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sciencescosmaincms.cm.ucf.edu\/physics\/ultrafast\/?p=287"},"modified":"2018-08-02T15:54:02","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T19:54:02","slug":"federico-presents-his-research-project-with-prep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/physics\/ultrafast\/federico-presents-his-research-project-with-prep\/","title":{"rendered":"Federico Rivas presents his PREP research project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Federico Rivas, an undergraduate student from Valencia College working in the LUMAS group through the <a href=\"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/physics\/prep\/\">UCF-Valencia PREP<\/a> (Physics Research Exchange Program), presented his research project &#8220;PCGPA &amp; its Applications to Frequency-Resolved Optical Gating&#8221; at the program&#8217;s final symposium today. Federico developed a LabVIEW-based PCPGA code and used it to reconstruct few-cycle pulses from FROG traces generated in the lab.
