Antimatter from your Local Thunderstorm

Confirming observations by NASA of Gamma Rays from a space-based telescope, Japanese scientists have detected the characteristic signature of antimatter from lightning strikes. The astroquarks explore this and a new proposal that suggests that dark matter may not exist. It really does, but it’s a cool idea anyway.
