After that, they may submit their revised request (as long as it is before the add\/drop deadline); students should mark the RRA in DocuSign as \u201cRevision\u201d as well, for record-keeping purposes. This applies to <strong>all revisions, including credit-hour changes, section number changes, and instructor changes<\/strong>. Any forms received for courses\/sections the student is already enrolled in may be flagged as duplicate, which can result in enrollment errors that are often not caught until after the add\/drop deadline, at which point the graduate staff would need to submit a Administrative Record Change form to correct the error.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Student should not submit duplicate forms<\/strong>; if their RRA has not been processed and they need to make a change, they should email <a href=\"mailto:cosgrad@ucf.edu\">cosgrad@ucf.edu<\/a> to request the current form be voided, so that they can submit a new form. As of Fall 2023, the Thesis and Dissertation Services site has been retired.\u00a0 Thesis &amp;Dissertation Approval forms and format review process are now in the Thesis &amp; Dissertation Webcourse.\u00a0 Final Thesis &amp; Dissertation submission process will be directly to STARS (after receiving format approval in Webcourse).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Defense Announcement<\/strong> <strong>Form<\/strong> (New as of Spring 2026)- Thesis or Dissertation defense announcements must be submitted directly to the College of Graduate Studies using the <a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.ucf.edu\/forms-and-references\/#thesis-and-dissertation-etd\">Defense Announcement Form<\/a> (through Dynamic Forms) at least <strong>three weeks prior to the date of the defense\/final examination<\/strong>. Doctoral students are required to meet with their advisor and\/or dissertation committee on an annual basis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7-Years Rule Completion Plan<\/strong> &#8211; Students have 7 years from admit term to complete degree requirements.\u00a0 The 7-Years Rule Completion Plan is now submitted electronically as early as the students&#8217; fifth year in the program once the student is notified by the College of Graduate Studies.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sciences.ucf.edu\/physics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/Override-Approval-Form-NEW.pdf\"><strong>Time Conflict <\/strong><\/a>&#8211; Complete this form if you have courses that conflict in schedule and you need approval to enroll in them.
