The Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies at UCF along with the College of Sciences provides an opportunity for an outstanding undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate student from the University of Central Florida to serve as a Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Fellow each Fall and Spring semester.
The selected student will work on a research project related to the United States-Saudi Arabia relationship, Middle East, under the direction of the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic research and Studies staff and scholars, with the aim of producing a final paper that is worthy of publication.
The weekly time commitment is approximately 10 hours. Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester. Students aspiring to become fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.5. A board of reviewers drawn from UCF and the community will evaluate applications and make selections. Two letters of reference, a one-page personal statement, a 5-10 page writing sample, an unofficial transcript and a resume are required.
High School Students:
Senior status and minimum 3.0 GPA. Those applying for summer internships before their senior year will be considered “Rising Seniors” and thus eligible to apply for an internship. A resume and a cover letter are required.
